RESUME :
JAILBIRDS takes place in a modern hell prison ruled by a vicious CHIEF WARDEN. But in this living nightmare one guy, FELIX. One tall, muscular gang member is always happy. He lives in serenity and peace of the mind spending his days between crayon drawings and meditation. It enrages the CHIEF WARDEN. For him, the inmates are here to suffer and pay their debt to society. So he’ll do everything he can to discover Felix’s secret.

JAILBIRDS se déroule dans une prison infernale moderne dirigée par un vicieux mâton. Mais dans ce cauchemar vivant, un type, FELIX, sort du lot. C'est un membre de gang grand et musclé qui est toujours heureux. Il vit dans la sérénité et paisiblement, passant ses journées entre dessins au crayon et méditation. Cela fait enrager le gardien-chef. Pour lui, les détenus sont là pour souffrir et payer leur dette à la société. Il va donc tout faire pour découvrir le secret de Félix.

Thomas Villepoux est réalisateur et chef opérateur, il est l’un des associés fondateurs en 2004 de la société de production Consortium C. Tout d’abord directeur photo, spécialisé dans la publicité et le clip, il est formé à la stéréoscopie par Alain Derobe puis par Yves Pupulin de la société Binocle. En 2014, il devient superviseur pour les tournages 360° et de réalité virtuelle, travaillant avec la société DVgroup. Il participe en relief et en réalité virtuelle à des projets aussi divers que de la publicité (Bouygues Telecom, Audi, Burburry…), des documentaires et de la fiction, mais aussi de la captation multicamera. Il est depuis 2010 formateur relief à l’INA et au CIFAP, et membre de l’association UP3D. En 2016, il fonde, avec François KLEIN, DIGITAL RISE, un storylab dédié aux expériences immersives.

Thomas Villepoux is a director and cinematographer, he is one of the founding partners in 2004 of the production company Consortium C. Initially a director of photography, specializing in advertising and music videos, he was trained in stereoscopy by Alain Derobe and then by Yves Pupulin of the company Binocle. In 2014, he became a supervisor for 360° and virtual reality shoots, working with the company DVgroup. He participates in 3D and virtual reality projects as diverse as advertising (Bouygues Telecom, Audi, Burburry ...), documentaries and fiction, but also multicamera capture. Since 2010, he is a relief trainer at INA and CIFAP, and member of the UP3D association. In 2016, he founded, with François KLEIN, DIGITAL RISE, a storylab dedicated to immersive experiences.
