Staff

Welcome Meagan,

Hello, my name is Meagan. I am the manager and head trainer here at Country Home Pet Boarding. I maintain the efficiency of day to day operations and I'm granted the opportunity to talk to each of you on the phone, greet you at the door, and spend time with each of your pups individually.

I graduated from Starmark Academy, with a certificate as a professional dog trainer. My goal is to share my knowledge and experience to help families and their furry friends live a longer, happier life together. My primary focus is teaching basic obedience like sit, place, loose leash walking, and giving owners and pups the ability to communicate more clearly.

I spend my spare time out on the family farm where we raise pigs for the local county fair and market. At home I hang out with my little Yorkie, Milo. I also enjoy spending time with my niece, and babysitting for family and friends.

Having previously worked as a kennel tech and vet tech, I am experienced in kennel maintenance and animal well being. I plan to continue my education in training and animal behavior to provide you and your pups with the best possible experience while boarding or training with us.

Welcome Rachel,

Country Home Pet Boarding is fortunate to have Rachel as a key part of our kennel staff and reception team. Along with the hands-on work , she is responsible for maintaining our social media pages, keeping clients informed about any changes or specials that will be running, and for showing off all the amazing pups that stay with us. Previously Rachel worked as an essential kennel tech and lab tech at a local veterinary clinic. Rachel is a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2025, where she majors in Agricultural Communications and Journalism. Along with her studies, she is a valued photographer for Aggie Photos,

which allows her to pursue her passion as a photographer.

In her free time Rachel enjoys spending time with family and close friends and hanging out with her Boston Terrier- Bo and Labrador - Julie. She also loves riding horses, especially her number one boy Tex. Rachel loves all things animals and all things Texas A&M. Welcome, Rachel
