This week during ELA, we continued to practice isolating ending sounds in words and our color sight words. We also reached a new writing milestone by sounding out our words using inventive spelling. This week in math, we continued to practice the skill of counting by 10's. We did this by making skip-counting paper chains, a Valentine's craft, and creating our own count-by-10 picture puzzle.

This week in science, our students explored the exciting world of weather! They learned what a weather forecast is, what meteorologists do, and how weather affects our daily lives. To wrap up the lesson, students created their own weather forecasts by designing a full week of their perfect weather. They shared their weather with the whole class.
We had so much fun at night school! We made cool tent art, binoculars, s'mores pudding cups, and played bingo! We also went on a nature walk, completed a nature scavenger hunt, and had a fun dance party with our flashlights at the end of the night!
