Hello Red Room Families,

This week in the Red Room we talked about friendship.

We read two wonderful books. The first one was Friendship is Forever by Patrica Hegarty, Making Friends by Fred Rogers and the other was Share and Take Turns by Cheri J. Meiners, M.Ed. For art this week, the children painted with a friend to create friendship paintings using the large easel.

In our lifetimes, we choose our own friends. The journey of life becomes memorable and hardships become bearable because of friends. It is the relationship with our friends that teaches us to share, love, and care for one another.

We cannot express how much we have enjoyed this past year and the opportunity to get to know each of your wonderful children and families. It has truly been a joy and a privilege to watch the children grow and flourish in so many ways- socially, and emotionally.

Their enthusiasm, curiosity, kindness, and love of learning have been a delight to witness each day. Equally heartwarming has been seeing the friendships they formed and the care and affection they showed toward one another. These moments have

made our classroom a very special place.

This year has been filled with growth, laughter, discovery, and countless cherished memories. We are incredibly proud of all that the children have accomplished and grateful for the trust you placed in us.

Thank you for sharing your precious children with us. It has been an honor to be part of their journey, and we hope we have helped inspire in each of them a lifelong love of learning. We wish you and your families a wonderful summer and continued success in the years ahead.
