'Tis the season to be kind, think of others and delight in the magic that is childhood.
Our Pillar this week was KINDNESS as we practiced lending a hand with a heavy backpack, checking in on a friend who was sad, and using words that are kind.
Some of our art endeavors are not pictured here in order to keep the magic of parent gifts a surprise, but we were busy with small motor tree beading, stockings and Christmas tree decorating, both large and small. Our grand finale group project was creating a sleigh that we could actually ride in with our Red and Green room friends!
During this short week, we packed in a lot of play. We created a pirate world on the rug, enjoyed our duplo people, puzzles, playdoh and blocks, and continued our themed projects. These kids are really getting into a beautiful groove with one another, using their words to communicate their needs and wants and truly enjoying more cooperative play!
This was a wonderful weather week to be outdoors, so that's where we were, soaking up the December shine.
We spent the week practicing and practicing and practicing some more, learning how to take a bow and sing in front of microphones!
We are ready for the Winter Sing performance!
Here are some of the themed books we read this week!
We're so proud of our Blue Room Class! What a wonderfully warm way to end the semester! Thank you parents for all your car-ride rehearsals :) :) It really helped the kids get ready to shine!
Have a relaxing and wonderful two week winter vacation!
