We're making our rapid way through a fantastic novel in verse, "The Crossover". Students are enjoying the unique format and the excellent story.

The math board game project is nearing its completion (finally! -- who said that?). Students have been working very hard on it and we can't wait to play them next week!

We had a fun-filled Pi Day celebration!
Students rotated through ten activity centers, completing tasks related to pi. The afternoon's events culminated in a pi recitation competition won by none other than 5th grade's Hugo!
Congratulations to all of my wonderful fifth graders who participated and worked hard to memorize a portion of those infinite digits! Well done everyone!
