children ages 5 - 25 years old living in the Rhondda Cynon Taf Area.
Parenting Through courses and events is designed to equip parents with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to navigate the challenges of raising children in today’s world. These offerings are part of a larger journey to provide steadfast mental health support, ensuring that parents have access to continuous and reliable resources. Through these programs, parents can learn, connect and grow, fostering a nurturing environment for their children's well-being and their own.

Donna Day is a counsellor, trainer and advocate.
Biography: Donnas journey in the world of counselling began with a sincere desire to make
a positive impact on individual lives. Armed with counsellor qualifications from the
University of South Wales, she embarked on a path of continuous learning and personal
growth. Over the years, Donna honed her skills through advanced training, workshops and
practical experience, culminating in her becoming a childrens, young peoples and adult
counsellor specialising in parent support and trauma-focused therapy.
Specialties: One of Donnas key areas of expertise lies in parent coaching, where she
empowers parents with the tools and insights they need to navigate the complexities of
raising children in todays world. Through personalised sessions and evidence-based
techniques, she helps parents build stronger connections with their children, enhance
communication, and foster healthy development.
Donna also specialises in working with children and young people, providing a safe and
nurturing space for them to explore their emotions, build resilience, and develop effective
coping strategies. Her ability to create rapport with her young clients has made her a
trusted confidante, guiding them through challenges such as anxiety, self-esteem issues,
peer pressure, and academic stress.
For adults seeking support, Donna offers a wide range of therapeutic approaches that
address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics and life transitions. Her
warm and non-judgmental demeanour, combined with her deep insights into the human
inner self, have helped countless individuals find healing and personal growth on their
journeys.

Our purpose is to equip parents with knowledge, skills and confidence to look after themselves as well as their loved ones, ensuring they have time and energy to enjoy and achieve the things that are important to them.
We work with parents to reduce the physical and emotional impact of the care and support tasks they undertake, ensuring they have appropriate knowledge and support and that the person they look after can be as independent as possible.
To provide support to parents/carers/significant others of children aged 5 – 24 years old who are experiencing difficult emotional distress which results in them deregulating in their emotions and choosing behaviours that cause them harm and difficulties.
