My name is Melody Cheng. I'm currently 17 years old and a senior at Hauppauge High School in Hauppauge, Long Island, New York. I love learning about neuroscience and cognitive behavior, but in my free time, I like to play tennis with my family, write poetry and songs, and listen to music. I joined The Tomorrow Project because I believe it is imperative that everyone is educated on mental health, and that mental illness should be destigmatized in our society. As someone who has struggled with mental health issues, I know how vital a safe space and a sense of understanding are in getting better. It's my personal mission as part of this organization to make sure our audience never feels alone.
