Getting to UH

• If you are flying in to Houston, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare (e.g. Uber, Lyft) to/from the University of Houston. Be sure to keep a copy of your itemized receipt so that you can be reimbursed as part of your travel reimbursement.

Address/Directions:

• The Quad address is 4361 Cougar Village Dr., Houston, TX 77204. (https://uh.edu/maps/#/find/QUAD)

  • This address will take you to “Loading Zone B” (see map below)

• A.D. Bruce Religion Center address is 3841 Cullen Blvd, Houston, TX 77204.

  • This address will take you to the Metered Parking (see map below) which is closest to The Quad Front Desk and The Quad Townhouse

Housing Check-In at The Quad:

• Check in any time between 8AM-5PM (preferred) on Monday, May 26 at The Quad Front Desk

  • If you arrive outside of the preferred check-in time, that is okay.

  • Knock on the main door or call 713-743-6044 (the front desk) and let them know you are checking for the Computer Science REU program.

  • If there is no one able to assist you or no one answers the front desk phone, call Matthew Pariyothorn at 832-868-5333

• You will receive a conference guest card (different from your CourgarCard) that you will use to get into The Quad Townhouse and your room.

Parking for Check-In:

• Loading/Unloading Zones

  • Are designated by green curbs and/or signage labeled “Loading Zone”.

  • Loading Zones have a maximum twenty (20) minute time limit. Vehicles must be moved when finished.

• Metered Parking is parking that you must pay for, so please do not utilize this space as a loading zone unless you intend to pay.

  • Metered parking is closest to The Quad front desk
