Google Chat & Spaces

Google Chat is an easy way to get ahold of anyone on our network without having to call and disrupt a class. Faculty, staff, NMS Students, and CHS Students have access.

Google Spaces is very similar to Google Chat. The main difference is that Google Spaces is geared towards groups, especially long-term groups. Tasks can be created and assigned within the space and files that are shared will be listed.

Searching in Gmail

If you're having a hard time finding an email, try using the advanced search options. You can enter who the email is from, whether it has an attachment, and even some words that are in the email.

Scheduling emails

Emails can be scheduled ahead of time. Next to the send button you can click the arrow and click schedule send. You'll then get some suggestions for when to send the email or you can pick your own date and time.
