Hi there! My name is Ms. Houghton. I am so excited for this school year and to spend it with your student! On this page you can find my teaching background and a little bit about me.

I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember. School was always something I enjoyed so I knew exactly what I wanted to pursue in college. I graduated from Winona State University in May of 2020 with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Early childhood. Throughout my time at Winona State University I worked in childcare, volunteered in schools, and enjoyed time in many different classrooms throughout this area.

I grew up in Plainview, MN and spent my childhood growing up there. I enjoyed and still enjoy hiking, volleyball, fishing, reading, and spending time with my friends and family. I have a little boy of my own, Archer.
