Cotter Elementary Library

Hello! My name is Missy Schneider. Born and raised in New Hampshire, I am a transplant to Minnesota. My husband Jon and I married in 2006 and are blessed with two wonderful kiddos: Molly and Elliot. Aside from my family, my passions are knitting, testing out new recipes and curling up with a good book.

I graduated St. Mary's University in 2001 with a B.A. in English and Publishing. I began working at St. Mary's Campus in 2015 as a lunchroom/playground aide. I became the Librarian at St. Mary's in late Fall of 2018. Currently I am the Elementary Librarian for students aged preschool through sixth grade and spend my weeks helping our students at St. Mary's, St. Stan's and St. Teresa's (John Nett) Campuses discover the magic of books. I want our school libraries to be a place that inspires our children to love reading and the places books can take us.
