On behalf of the Council of State Science Supervisors, I am honored to welcome you to this annual conference, thoughtfully designed by and for State Science Supervisors. Embracing our theme of Learning for Leading: Support. Empower. Partner., this year’s conference highlights our shared commitment to leading and supporting high-quality science education. This gathering also provides abundant opportunities to connect, share insights, and build partnerships that empower us to advance science education through equitable practices and transformative learning experiences.

The comprehensive agenda offers learning sessions to enhance our leadership capabilities, strengthen our collective support for inclusive science education, and address the unique needs of all learners. A heartfelt thank you goes to the Conference Planning Committee and the CSSS Board of Directors for their dedication in making this event possible.

For those I haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting, I am Jamie Rumage (she/her), serving as the Board President of CSSS.
