The 2024 Most Valuable Student scholarship contest is open to any high school senior who is a US Citizen.

The Gates Scholarship (TGS) is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for outstanding, minority, high school seniors from low-income households. Each year, the scholarship is awarded to exceptional student leaders, with the intent of helping them realize their maximum potential.Â

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship designed to help high-achieving students from small towns and rural areas graduate college debt-free. Recipients must: a) graduate from a public high school located in a county having fewer than 50,000 residents, or b) graduate from a remote rural school located in a county having more than 50,000 residents Â
Students eligible for nomination for the Scholarship Program (“Students”) must be:

(a) Legal Arkansas residents over the age of fifteen years old, at the time of applicant submission.
(b) Enrolled in a public, or private school, or participating in home school education in the Little Rock/Pine Bluff media market. The Horatio Alger Scholarship gives deserving students each year and range in award value from $6,000.00 to $25,000.00.Â
HWOA is a non-profit organization with the mission to advance educational opportunities for Hispanic women and their families, to celebrate and teach others about our cultures and to become active participants in the community. Eligibility:
Must be of Hispanic heritage
U.S. citizen, permanent legal resident, or DACA
Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students; minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for college and graduate students
Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the U.S., for the 2024-2025 academic year
Submit the FAFSA or state-based financial aid forms (if applicable)
