Central District Health invites parents, guardians, school staff, and community members to attend a free educational presentation on kratom and 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH), an emerging substance of concern among youth and young adults.

An overview of kratom and 7-OH and how they affect the brain and body
Information on current trends, risks, and misconceptions
Guidance for recognizing warning signs and starting conversations with youth
Discuss effective parenting strategies for preventing youth substance use
A powerful personal testimony from a parent who has experienced the impact of these substances firsthand
Free dinner will be provided to attendees.
