Hello! My name is Lauren Cuellar and I am an English teacher at Cory-Rawson High School. I teach English 10, English 11, English 12, and Computer Applications. I am also the Yearbook Adviser. This is my 14th year at Cory-Rawson!
I graduated from Cory-Rawson in 2006 and attended Heidelberg University where I received my BA in English Literature. I continued my education at the University of Findlay where I received my teaching license. I now have my Masters in Education in Educational Technology and Instructional Design.
I met my amazing husband in 2008 and we married in 2016. RJ was born in 2018, Roman followed in 2020, and Rayna finished the family in 2022. We also have a dog named Kobe who joined us in 2021.
RJ is in 2nd grade and Roman is in Kindergarten this year! Our last one, Rayna, is starting preschool this year. It is bittersweet to have all our kids in school. Ralph and I enjoy sports, but especially basketball! We have hopes our children will develop our passion for basketball, but we will support the kids in whatever direction they take in life.
Teaching is my passion. I love to see the "lightbulb" go off in students. My students inspire me, and I support them and will work hard to help them succeed in all areas.
