Millstream will also host Sophomore Career Night on December 12, 2024. Any sophomore and their parents/guardians are welcome to attend. This event is not mandatory.

ACT Prep Night @ Liberty Benton
If you are preparing to take the ACT this year, please consider attending the ACT Test Prep at Liberty Benton on Monday February, 3rd and Wednesday, February 5th . There will be 2 sessions each night from 7:00-8:10 and 8:20-9:30 PM. English, Reading, Mathematics, and Science will be presented during each session. There is no charge to attend each night.
Please bring with you a pen or pencil and notebook paper.
Freudenberg-NOK Apprenticeship Program- Freudenberg in Findlay, OH manufactures thermoplastic seals and related components for the automotive industry. They are currently offering a 4-year Maintenance Apprenticeship program, which includes free education, benefits, and starting wages at $20 an hour. Interested seniors should submit an application by November 8th.
Military Academy Information Night-On Wednesday, October 23 The Ohio's Fifth Congressional District will be hosting the U.S. Military Service Academy nomination and appointment process meeting for students and parents. The meeting will take place at Owens Community College, Findlay Campus starting at 7pm. Please see Mrs. Barnhart if you have questions.
Elks Student of the Month-Seniors, If you have a strong involvement in our community, high academic achievement, and a variety of school activities please fill out the Elks Student of the Month Application Form, found here. Your application will be submitted to be reviewed by the Elks Selection Committee for a chance to be selected to attend an award ceremony celebrating your accomplishments. There will be a cash award for each Student of the Year. Please return the form to Mrs. Barnhart by Wednesday Oct. 1st.
ASVAB Test-ASVAB Test-The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) is a standardized test that helps determine a person's suitability for military service and their strengths in various areas. If you are a junior or senior and plan to enlist in the military, please consider taking the ASVAB on Thursday, November, 6th at Millstream Career Center. Please let Mrs. Barnhart know if you will be taking the test by October 15th.
College Credit Plus & Financial Assistance Night-
Cory-Rawson will be hosting the annual College Credit Plus Evening on December 11th at 5:30 pm, in the elementary cafeteria for any 6th-11th grader planning to take CCP during the 25-26 school year.
The financial aid night will be held on December 11th at 6pm in the board room/study hall room for any senior and their guardians needing help with the FAFSA.

GROB 2026 Apprentice Program-GROB is excited to announce that we are once again searching for our next class of apprentices. Blood Drive Volunteer (age 16+)- Ensure that blood donors have a pleasant and fulfilling experience. Volunteers must commit to 1-2 shifts (4-6 hrs.) a month. Click here to learn more.
Gliding Stars of Findlay Volunteer- Gliding Stars of Findlay is an adaptive ice-skating program that provides individuals who have physical, mental, or emotional disabilities the opportunity to reach their potential through the development of ice-skating skills. The program meets at The Cube in Findlay, on Sunday Afternoons from September till the end of March. Who
School counselors are educators with a masters degree in school counseling who provide related services by addressing student’s social, emotional and academic/career development needs. School counselors are dedicated to student success in school and helping students grow to become productive citizens.
Why
Our students today need guidance in their current and future school curriculum and support during their young adult years. School counselors collaborate with teachers, administrators, and staff to help students be successful now and in the future.
Millstream Career Center
Sophomores attend a Millstream presentation in November/December to learn about specific programs and the application process. College Credit Plus Program
CC+ was created to allow eligible students (grades 7-12) to take college classes while in high school. Students earn college credit and high school graduation credit through college coursework. The purpose of the program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wider variety of options to high school students. Students/parents interested in CC+ must declare to the district their intent to participate by APRIL 1 in order to participate during the following year. I will host a CC+ meeting in mid-winter to cover options, requirements, and details. The date/time of the meeting is publicized on the CRHS main website, the Counselor Corner bulletin board, and during morning announcements.
Credit Requirements for Graduation:
3 credits of Science (must include Physical Sci., Biology, and one adv. lab-based sci.)
4 credits of Math (must include Algebra 2)
3 credits of Social Studies (World Studies, American History, and US Government)
4 credits of English
0.5 credits of Health
0.5 credits of PE (2 classes)
0.5 credits of Economics
0.5 credits of Financial Literacy (class of '26 and after)
1 credit of Fine Arts (Millstream students are exempt if they complete their program)
5 credits of Electives
