6th Grade Life Science

Hello 6th Grade Parents and Students,

Sixth Grade Life Science is a yearlong course that emphasizes learning through hands-on scientific inquiry. Specific skill development includes observation, measurement, classification, and experimentation through the scientific method. Concepts include structure and function of organisms, heredity, ecosystem structure and function, environmental science, and evolution. Students will learn and apply these skills through various field study and lab projects.
