Unfortunately, we will NOT have Melodairs at BCE this year. Corvallis School District reduced music to only one day a week for students and I am only at BCE 2.5 days during the week.

4th & 5th graders at Bessie Coleman Elementary School can join the Melodairs Choir ! 

Do you love singing with others? Come sing in our  Bessie Coleman "Melodairs" Choir. We meet in the music room for recess for 30 minutes (extended recess for us!). Each choir class we will do vocal warm-ups, work on vocal technique for healthy voices and choir games! In between our whole group choir rehearsals, students are expected to listen (using this website for songs to be posted)  and practice their music with their sheet music!

All 4th and 5th graders are invited to join but after the first week they can either commit and sign their notes to stay in choir or say "no thank you".  No audition required, just a willingness to sing together with others and commit to rehearsals.

Choir starts in Jan and goes to May.

We practice twice a week in the music room during lunch recess.
