Social Studies 7 is the first part of a two year survey class designed to introduce students to American History. We will explore the people, wars, revolutions, and other political, social, and economic changes that occurred in the United States from before the arrival of European colonists up to the Civil War. We will learn about what was going on before America was America, how the United States was founded, and the struggles and successes of our young nation.
