Senior Trip Update: March 1, 2024

The next installment of $125.00 is due Friday, March 1.  The entire $350 payment must be received by May 1, 2024.

Senior Trip Update: February 2, 2024

Wednesday, January 31 was the deadline for signing up and making a deposit for the senior trip.  We are happy to report that our buses are completely full!  We have officially reached capacity.

We are now starting a waiting list for those who still would like a potential opportunity to go.  The waiting list is first come, first serve for any available spots that may become available.  In order to be put on the waiting list, all you have to do is email Mrs. Johnson or go see her.  There is NO PAYMENT needed to be put on the waiting list.  If a spot opens up for you, you will be notified via email and will have 24 HOURS to bring in the $100 deposit.  If you don't do this, you will lose your spot.

We are thrilled with the overwhelming response and are looking forward to this experience with you all.

Senior Trip:  June 2-4, 2024, Ocean City Maryland

We will leave Cortland High early Sunday morning on June 2, 2024.  We will travel to Ocean City, Maryland where we will have 

lunch, go to SpeedWorld for go-karting, go out to dinner at Bonfire Restaurant, go on an Ocean City Rocket boat ride, 

then have boardwalk time.  Day 2 includes breakfast at Happy Jack’s Pancake House, a day at the beach, and dinner at Shenanigans.  

Day 3 we will have breakfast again at Happy Jack’s and depart for home.  We will arrive back in Cortland around 7:00 pm on 

Tuesday, June 4.  

The cost of the trip is $350.00 per student.  Sign ups for the senior trip will begin immediately and end on January 31, 2024.  

A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is due at sign up.  The remaining $250.00 can be paid in full any time before May 1 or in 2 

installments.  Due to deposit requirements from the companies, we cannot offer any refunds for your payments if your child can no 

longer go on the trip.  Please sign both the Statement of Understanding and Medication Form in the Senior Trip Packet and 

return them to Mrs. Johnson or Mrs. Andrews with your deposit by January 31.

THE $350 COST INCLUDES:

• Round trip transportation and transfers via video bus.

• (2) Night hotel accommodations at Dunes Court

• (2) Night Security Guard 11pm- 5am

• (1) lunch on Sunday upon arrival to Ocean City

• (2) Breakfasts @ Happy Jacks.  

• (1) Dinner @ The Bonfire Restaurant  

• (1) Dinner @ Shenanigans 

• All taxes and gratuities on hotel room and all meals are included.

• (1) admission to Speed World

• (1) admission on the Sea Rocket boat

Seniors will need extra money for Monday’s lunch on boardwalk, any souvenirs, and food on our way back home on Tuesday.

ROOMING:

• There are 4 people in each hotel room

• You will pick your roommates

• Rooms are assigned by biological sex at birth

• Room assignments must be given to Mrs. Johnson by March 29, 2024

CHAPERONES:

• 8 school chaperones will be on this trip (4 females and 4 males)

• Each chaperone is assigned 10 students for check in/accountability

MEDICATIONS:

• All seniors must complete the medication form, even if they are bring no medicine

• Prescription medications need a physician’s signature

• Over the counter medications do not need a physician’s signature
