Senior To Do List

Senior year is certainly not a time to sit back and relax (just yet!) Below is a list of what you should be doing throughout your LAST year at Cortland High School! 

• Be sure your family is using ParentSquare so you don't miss out on important announcements

• Have senior pictures taken

• Visit any colleges/universities of interest

• Get your parking pass

• Paint your parking spot (optional)

• Make an account for CommonApp (most college applications are submitted using this)

• Get letters of recommendation from teachers, coaches, etc. for college applications - you should give them a completed brag sheet to help the process

• Start working on your college essay

• Remember that you will need to have your high school and TC3 transcripts sent to your college by Mrs. Votra

• When you graduate, you will no longer have access to your student account. Make sure any important files you created in high school (resume, cover letter, college essay, etc.) are made accessible to your personal account. See Mrs. Norman if you need help with this.
