Players of all levels and abilities are welcome in Corte Madera FC’s Recreational Soccer program. Players are grouped into teams by their grade for the 2026–2027 school year. Parents interested in coaching are encouraged to indicate their willingness to coach during the registration process. 

Please note that rosters are capped by age group to ensure appropriate field space, coaching coverage, and a positive player experience. If a division fills, families are encouraged to register for the waitlist. We actively work to form additional teams and regularly move players off the waitlist when sufficient coaches are available. Corte Madera FC forms teams and divisions by school grades rather than by age. This is so kids can play with their classmates. Friend requests will be taken into account when forming teams and we will make our best effort to accommodate these requests. Please understand that it is sometimes impossible to accommodate all requests!

Season Overview

Fall practices begin in late August, with games starting in early September and running through late October. Each team will play a minimum of 7-8 games during the season. Teams in 3rd grade and up will conclude the season with a tournament towards the end of October.

Practices & Equipment

Recreational teams practice once per week. A CMFC competitive trainer is assigned to each Rec team and will lead practices 1x per week. Parent Coaches are strongly encouraged to attend these practices to support continuity from training to game day. Players should bring cleats, shin guards, a water bottle, and a soccer ball to every practice. For games, players must purchase 1 reversible Corte Madera jersey, a pair of black shorts and red socks at T&B Sports in San Rafael, CA.  Parents are encouraged to reach out to Corte Madera if interested in coaching a team this Fall. Deadline & Fees

The Registration deadline is June 15, 2026. Players who still wish to register after this date will be charged a late registration fee of $50.

Cancellation Deadline is August 1, 2026. No refunds will be issued on or after this date. Refund for Fall recreational / MISA Soccer will be issued only if cancellation is made before August 1, 2025. There is a $10 cancellation fee.

*Please note that in the event that we cannot place your child on a team due to team size, availability of training staff, or other unforeseen circumstances you will be issued a full refund.

Registering for the soccer program is a commitment, and we kindly ask that you ensure your schedule is clear of other conflicting activities. Due to our policy, we are unable to issue refunds in the event of a scheduling or friend request conflict.
