Universidad del Valle is pleased to announce the First Latin-American Workshop on Experimental and Behavioural Social Sciences (LAWEBESS), to be held at the Antonio J. Posada Auditorium, Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences, Meléndez Campus, Universidad del Valle (Cali, Colombia) on 14-15 September 2017. The Workshop is organized by Boris Salazar, Javier Medina and Lina Restrepo (Universidad del Valle), in collaboration with Enrique Fatas (University of East Anglia) and Raymond Duch (Nuffield College Oxford University).

LAWEBESS seeks to gather researchers from all areas of social sciences, interested in experimental and behavioral methods. Since behavioral sciences have grown in a transdisciplinary environment, in interaction with a wide spectrum of topics and methodologies, our goal is to encourage an open dialogue between scholars and researchers from different disciplines in which they can discuss their work in progress, receive feedback from and interact with peers and graduate students. The event will have both invited and contributed presentations (only in english).

The workshop will be held in English, and presentations should last around 20 minutes. The registration fee is US$50 (COP$151,000) for students y US$120 for non students (COP$363,000). Payment options are available below. Once you have paid, we kindly ask you to email us with the payment receipt and a photo or scan of your ID document. We are enforced by law to provide to the tax agency with a copy of all payments received in the University's account.

Please, mind that no-simultaneous translation will be available in the Workshop.
