ASHRAE COLOMBIA CHAPTER CONVERSATORY.
Engineer Ernesto Porras will talk about his experience as a lecturer and university professor on topics such as air conditioning, indoor air quality, thermal energy storage, commissioning and ASHRAE standards. Also a little bit about the General Management Boards of ACAIRE and ASHRAE in Colombia, as well as the benefits of having ASHRAE student membership.

Mechanical Engineer from the Universidad del Valle and Master in Energy Engineering from the Federal University of Itajubá (Brazil). He has been involved in technology development projects, as a researcher in Colombia and abroad, and also as an university lecturer, applying analytical, numerical and experimental tools. He is currently the CAE application specialist for ESSS Colombia, which supports the implementation of computational simulation in companies in Latin America.
