This research group is based at Universidad del Valle, Cali, Colombia, and is currently focused in its research interests include : Functional analysis, Spectral theory, geometric analysis, dispersive equations,Toeplitz operators, Pseudo-differential operators, Fourier Integral operators, harmonic analysis, differential geometry and their interplay with each other and with other fields..
This group is the result of a restructuring of our previous group, Partial Differential Equations and Geometry-UniValle-ERM (EDPG). The University of Valle has played a fundamental role in the development of universities in southwestern Colombia, both public and private. The Department of Mathematics has played a particularly significant role through its Postgraduate program, which has been a natural source of advanced training for a large number of professors and researchers in the region. The group has distinguished itself in this endeavor through its continuity and progress, measured in terms of the number of professors with doctoral degrees, the number of master's theses supervised, publications, dissemination of results at international events, and seminar activity. The consolidation of research activity within the group will contribute positively to the development of the scientific and technological capacity of the region and, of course, the country. To achieve this, it is necessary to guarantee the continuity of the research that has been carried out in the group and the feasibility of supporting new research proposed within it, some of which are expected to be done jointly.
