Since my PhD, I have been studying the production, launching, and evolution of the relativistic and very energetic jets which produce long and short GRBs. Never will I get bored of them... there are always new and exotic GRBs that we don't understand.
A few years ago I started studying the explosive phenomena involved during the evolution of certain massive binary systems... in which the CE plays a crucial part. Of course, as a jet lover, I am very interested in the effects that jets produce in the CE phase.
I have always been interested in supernovae (SNe) especially those which accompany GRBs.
Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are on my radar and have a very special interest with the Colibri telescope (in which I am a member of the collaboration).
Also add any other explosive phenomena produced by massive stars or by the evolution of binary systems.
