If you are a CORRAL tutor or college and career prep team member for the Neuse River campus, you have come to the right place! This page will have all information regarding the Academic Team. You will be able to find open shifts, our latest meeting notes, and any other important updates!
Tutor Job Description: Hours and Days- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 4-7p and Saturdays (various shifts)
College and Career Prep Job Description: Hours and Days- 2nd and 4th Saturdays 9:30-10:30p

Now that you've completed Girls 101, these are your next steps before getting started in the work with the girls:
Review Tutor 101 slides. This will go over the basic procedures and expectations when you are a tutor.
Sign up for 2 Tutor Shadowing shifts: Email Shera at shera@corralriding.org to sign up. On your first visit you will be given the rubric (mentioned in Tutor 101) to fill out and take any notes about what you observe during your shift. You will check in with Shera at the end of your shift to go over any information.
You are set to start! Talk with Shera about your availability and the current needs of the girls.

We attended 4 college tours! The girls had a chance to explore Winston-Salem State University, North Carolina State University, Campbell University, and North Carolina A&T State University!
Our kids closed out the school year with a Herd Average above 80%!
