Problem Statement: Horse Feeder Team has been installing and moving temporary fences over the past month for horses to graze in the Field 9 area. The remaining 1 acre land is next to Kildaire Farm Road. It would be helpful to create a "better" temporary fence when it is time for the horses to graze this section.
Proposal: Still use the white string to connect the posts, but have the Facilities Volunteers install metal T-posts along 2 sides. There are 14 8-foot posts and 8 6-foot posts in the barn. If additional posts are requested by staff, more can be purchased and installed. The Diagram shows T-posts installed at 20-foot spacing. (versus 10-foot spacing for the long term fence plan.
The Blue line is the current temporary fence, which uses the short white plastic posts.
The Blue DOTs are locations for metal T-posts (rough diagram - 20 foot spacing)
