FAQs

How do I know if my child is Signed In or not?

You will know if your child is Signed In once you put in your phone number and PIN. If it does not let you continue and tells you that a Sign In is required then there is a chance your child was not signed in. If that happens, please come see the Director and they will double check and make any changes necessary.

Who are “Authorized Pick-Ups”?

Authorized Pick-Ups are other people that you (parents/guardians) have given permission to pick up your child/ren. They can be other family members, family friends, sitters, etc.

However, they have to be listed in Curacuby or the Emergency Form or email the director in advance. If not, parents will be contacted to confirm the pick-up and the director will manually sign out the child with a note as to who picked up.

What if my child walks home from Extended Care?

Ideally, if your student is walking home, then they should have their own pin to sign themselves out. However, that becomes an issue if they do not have a cellphone.  There are other ways to get around this, a parent can give the information to sign themselves out or let the Director (or an Extended Care staff member, in the absence of the Director) know that they are leaving and walking home. The latter will have the student manually signed out. Please remind your child to say “goodbye,” or something of the sort, to the Director or an Extended Care staff member before leaving.

Extended Care does have access to who has permission to walk home, but notification in advance that they will be walking home will be greatly appreciated.

What if a sibling (that is currently a student) is picking up from Extended Care? Is that allowed?

Yes, siblings can Sign Out, as long as they are in 5th grade or older.

As stated above, it would be ideal if the older sibling had their own PIN, but the same issue of not having a cellphone number can get in the way. A way around this: a parent provides their information to sign out and the older sibling will use it to sign out the younger sibling.  Alternatively, if the Director is given prior notice, the sibling can be manually signed out and noted that they were taken by a sibling.

**Let the Director know if current student siblings will be picking up from Extended Care in any situation.**

How do we get billed? Do we pay through Curacubby?

You will be getting an invoice through FACTS, the same way you pay for tuition. If you have opted for automatic payments and make sure you have also opted for INCIDENTAL EXPENSES to be autopay as well, then money will automatically be taken out of your account. You will receive an invoice from FACTS but I do not recommend trying to decipher your hourly breakdown from that invoice. You should look at the invoice from Curacubby.

If you are writing a check, please write it to  Corpus Christi School, not Extended Care.

If you have any questions about how you were charged (hours, dates, etc.) please feel free to contact the Director. If you have questions about FACTS, please contact the bookkeeper, Kathleen Clapp (bookkeeper@corpuschristischool.com), you can also contact FACTS directly at (866) 441-4637.

Why does Curacubby show I PAID when I haven't?

First, to explain, we are using Curacubby purely for attendance and generating invoices. Those invoices will then be sent to the bookkeeper and inputted into FACTS. Since the beginning of the month is also a time when many families change their schedules, the invoices in Curacubby must be locked in - considered as PAID - before any changes can occur. If you would like to know what you currently owe look at FACTS. If you would like to see an itemized report of your invoice you have to look in your Curacubbby account. However, it will only be available after they have been marked as PAID which can take time. The Director will notify the Extended Care mailing list when CUracubby invoices are visible.

tldr; If you are trying to find your current balance, look in FACTS. If you want a more detailed invoice, check your Curacubby account.
