I am spending my 4th year in education in the Resource Room at Corpus Christi. Prior to teaching, I worked in Quality Assurance as a chemist and manager for Smithkline Chemicals. I began teaching in early 2000 as a sub here at CCS. I previously taught 16 years as a MS Science and ELA teacher at St. Alphonsus and Our Lady of Mercy Schools before coming to CCS in 2019.

This year my husband and I will be celebrating 40 years of marriage. Our three children Kate, Ted, and Maureen are successfully pursuing careers in their chosen fields. Our 4 year-old granddaughter, Emma, will be entering kindergarten next year. We have a two-year-old grandson, James, and our son is expecting his first child in November. It was a joy to spend two weeks this summer down the shore with the grandchildren.

I love spending time with family and friends, enjoy traveling, reading, and time at the beach. At a member of the Corpus parish, I volunteer with the Bingo program. I also am a member of the Girl Scouts and on the Advisory Board at the Franklin Institute.

It is rewarding to work in the resource room with the students who need extra help in Math, ELA, SS, or Science. My goal is to assist in preparing these students for success in high school, college, and ultimately the challenges in the workplace.
