My name is Melissa Jo Tradewell. This is my fourth year at Corpus Christi Catholic School.

This starts the 19th year working in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Catholic Elementary School system. Before Corpus Christi, I taught at Saint Francis of Assisi School for 15 years. I am a local woman who graduated from Saint Stanislaus School and Lansdale Catholic High School. I then went on to Elizabethtown College, where I graduated in 2005 with a dual degree in Communications and English. I got my Teacher Certification through Delaware Valley College's Teacher Internship Program, where I also got my Master in Science in Educational Leadership as well as my Pennsylvania Principal certification. I also got my Archdiocesan principal certification. After Del Val, I attended Penn State University where I got a Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction as well as my Reading Specialist certification. Following Penn State, I attended Immaculata University where I obtained a Doctor of Education.

I have two boys, Holden (7) and Nikolai (4). Holden will be attending Second Grade here at Corpus this year and Nikolai will be in Prek4 at Corpus. I have a cavapoo named Hunter (10 weeks old). I love to travel. My favorite place is Walt Disney World, where I worked for my College Internship. I have also traveled to Europe to visit Austria, Italy, and Germany. My personal hobbies include reading books, writing of any kind, movies, and fast cars.

Most importantly, I look forward to teaching at Corpus Christi this year and continuing my journey with new faces and new adventures.
