Hello! My name is Shannon Levesque and I am teaching your 5th grader this year! I am so excited and humbled to be part of my students' lives and education each year. I'm very excited to be part of the growth that happens as they make their way to middle school!
I have been teaching at Corpus Christi for 19 years! I was brought up through Catholic education, including my graduate and collegiate studies at De Sales University. I attained a Bachelor of Psychology and my Master's in Education in Academic Standards K-6; I am certified to teach K-6. From there, I was involved in early learning child care and began teaching at St. Ann School in Emmaus. I taught 2nd grade there until I moved to Corpus. So, I guess you could say I like school! Once I got started, I never stopped!
My passion for teaching at Corpus is two-fold. First, I am very blessed to have had a Catholic education and I love that I'm "on the other end" teaching about our faith. Secondly, I love teaching students at this age! I love that my students are at the age of reason and they can discuss things and listen to one another! They can be responsible for their learning and enjoy it! It's really great to hear their thoughts and concerns and help them develop themselves into young adults. It's a very cool job and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your students' lives! :)
This is my family! Brian is my husband and Alex is my son! Alex started high school this year! We have two puppies: Mandy (left) and Rocky (right)! Our favorite things to do include: biking/hiking, swimming, watching Alex play all his sports, and vacationing. :)
