Ms. Deb Murphy:
I have been teaching Kindergarten and Pre-K for 43 years and absolutely love it. I retired 9 years ago and moved to PA from Massachusetts to help my daughter and her family with the grandchildren. I have been working at Corpus Christi for the past 8 years...first as a lunch monitor, then I quickly transferred to the classroom settings as aides, in PreK and Kindergarten then teacher in PreK 3.
A little more about me: I have two children, Alison who lives here in PA with her family and Brendan who lives with this family in VA. I have 5 beautiful grandchildren, two boys and 3 girls...Henry age 16, Violet age 13, Jane age 10, Clark age 8 and Mae 3 years. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of the wonderful Corpus Christi staff and look forward to working with the children and parents. I went to college in Massachusetts, attending a few colleges...STCC, Holyoke Community, Wheelock and finally finished my education at Smith College in Northampton, MA with my degree in Early Childhood Education.. I am also a Basic Life Support Instructor and I am certified in both CPR and First Aid.
Mrs. Christine Meltz :
I have been working at Corpus Christi for 9 years now. I started as an aide in PreK 4 with Mrs. LeFevre and at one time was working in both PreK 4 and PreK 3. I am now working in PreK3 full-time. I even worked for KidView in the after school program at one time. This year, I will also be doing Morning Care along with Mrs. LeFevre. I love working with the little kids and helping them grow and develop.
A little more about me. I am married and have two children, Tyler 19 and Samantha 17. My son Tyler graduated from Universal Technical Institute. My daughter is in 11th grade at the Mount. Both of my children attended Corpus Christi school. I live in Harleysville with my family. I have a dog, CoCo and a cat, Tiger. I graduated from Holy Family University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I worked in a hospital as an Rn for 15 years.
We are both looking forward to a great year with your children and the opportunity to watch them learn and grow in a fun, safe and caring learning environment.
