Math: We will decompose the numbers 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. We will make and represent groups of objects with the numbers 11-15.
ELA: We will continue in Module 5 where we will read stories about trying new things that might be challenging. We will read stories called Emmanuel's Dream and Everyone Can Learn How to Ride a Bicycle. Our letters this week are Q and X. We will learn both letters and the sounds they make. We will learn our new sight words have, some, six, we. We will continue learning about blends and learn digraphs.
Religion: We will color our Lenten Rocks and learn about how butterflies are a symbol of new life. We will learn about Palm Sunday, and Holy Thursday.
Social Studies: We will read our next Scholastic Reader about Betsy Ross.
Science: We will continue tracking the weather in March and decide whether it is lamb or lion weather.

Math: We will complete a St. Patrick's Math activity on ways to make 10 and a rainbow math activity on ways to make 10. We will start Chapter 9 where we will learn ways to represent the numbers 11, 12, and 13 and make groups of them.
ELA: We will continue Module 5 where we will read stories about trying hard things. We will read the story called ish. Our letter this week is E. We will learn the letter and the sound it makes. We will learn short e vs. long e. We will learn our new sight words help, they, too, you.

We will practice writing them and go over the sounds they make. We will practice fixing the beginning of the sentences to start with uppercase letters. We will go over proper nouns. We will the beginning sounds in words, middle sounds, and ending sounds. We will review whether or not words have the same sounds or not.

ELA: We will complete some fun gingerbread theme writing for gingerbread theme week which includes writing about or own gingerbread house. We will review the number of syllables in words, beginning sounds, sight words, and short a and i. We will read gingerbread themed stories and pick our favorite one.
Religion: We will color in our third advent candle pink. We will continue talking about Advent and learn about the story of Christmas. We will learn about Mary and how she is the Mother of God.

We will practice blending sounds to make words. We will identify the initial sound in words and come up with words that have the same initial sound. We will practice sentences with our sight words, he, ran, and she.
Religion: We will learn about Advent and why it is important to celebrate it. We will learn that Advent is the four weeks that lead us to Christmas. We will color in our advent candle wreath and color in the flame for the first purple candle.

Math: We will review writing numbers 0-10, counting groups of object up to 10, and finding out which groups are either greater or less than. We will take a Math test on Wednesday. We will start Chapter 4 on Sorting, Classifying, and Counting objects.
ELA: We will review short a, and the letters C and P. We will focus on writing them and the sounds they make. We will practice counting syllables in words as well as blending words and rhyming them. We will review vowels. We will take our Module 2 test on Thursday and begin Module 3 on Friday.
Religion: We will review that we are all God's children. We will identify our own uniqueness. We will identify our five senses and talk about examples of how we care for our gifts.

We will learn about adjectives for color and size. We will review antonyms and synonyms. We will review what characters and setting are in stories. We will also learn about characteristic details.
Religion: We will read a story about Samuel from the Bible. We will review the importance of talking to God and how we can talk to God anywhere and at anytime. We will learn about the Holy Family and identify what makes up families.

ELA: We will start Module 2, "There is Only One Me!" We will continue learning our letters and their sounds. We will focus on the ending sound in words. The letters this week are T and B. We will focus on writing them and the sounds they make. We will review verbs and learn what past tense verbs are. We will learn about sequence of events. We will review characters and settings in stories.
Religion: We will start the next chapter where we will learn about praying in peace and calm and how the Church is a holy and sacred place.

We will continue to learn the letters M and S this week focusing writing them and their sounds. We will continue to learn about how many syllables are in words. We will learn the vowels a,e,i,o,u. We will also continue learning more of our color words learning how to spell them and identifying things that are those colors.
Religion: We will continue learning about Noah's Ark an do a coloring activity. We will also learn about praying in peace and calm.

Math: We will continue learning numbers 1-5. We will match groups of numbers together to figure out if they are greater than or less than. We will complete the Unit 2 Review.
ELA: Our story this week is called, "Schools Around the World." We will learn continue learning about characters, setting, and topic. We will continue learning our letters and their sounds. We will focus on the letters M and S this week.
Religion: We will wrap up Chapter 2 reviewing Jonah and the Whale, the importance of the Bible, and the importance of our names. We will start Chapter 3 where we will learn about the story of Creation as well as Noah's Ark.

ELA: Our story this week is called "Kindergarten Kids." We will learn about the different characteristics of poetry. We will learn about verbs and how they are action words such as walking and talking. We will learn our letters and the sounds they make. We will focus on the letters Q-Z
