TCDSB Bikes

The Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB) is partnering with SparksFly, a Run for Life program, to loan Spark Bikes to interested schools throughout the board during 2017. We plan to deliver 2 bikes (one big, one small - photo below) to each school for a 1-2 month loan, so schools can test the bikes in their classrooms.

Saint Cecilia Elementary purchased four bikes in 2015-2016, and teachers and students are seeing GREAT RESULTS! Nick Biagini (principal) and Brennan Caverhill (teacher) at St. Cecilia are working with John Carson and Gord McCulloch at SparksFly to facilitate the loaner program, and Amanda Wudarzewski (Run for Life) and Dr. Julie Mueller (Laurier University) are helping study the results and student impact.
