About the Session
Join Addison Snell, CEO of Intersect360 Research, and Jay Boisseau, Advanced Computing Strategist at Google Cloud, for an insightful discussion on the increasing influence and leadership hyperscalers like Google Cloud are providing in AI and HPC. In this session, we'll share how hyperscalers are driving AI services and capabilities and explain how their massive scale of data and infrastructure are shaping the industry. We’ll discuss the market dynamics and technology innovations in hyperscalers and how they are empowering researchers and businesses with cutting-edge HPC solutions, including the integration of RDMA networking, parallel file systems, and the development of next-generation CPUs and accelerators. We’ll conclude by discussing how this is changing the cloud vs on-prem choices for different workloads and customers in both traditional HPC and AI. This session is essential for anyone interested in the intersection of AI, HPC, and the transformative power of hyperscale computing.
