In this hands on and collaborative series we will look at best practices for blended learning. We will define what blended learning is, talk about the pros and cons of blended learning, and spend time planning for blended learning lessons. By the end of the series you will have the knowledge and tools necessary to start blending your classroom.

Digital Badges!

As we work our way through the next five weeks you will have the opportunity to earn several digital badges. Each of the badges will represent a step that you have taken to become a blended learning jedi!

To earn a badge you will need to join our Badge List.com group by clicking here. After you have joined the group you will need to submit the evidence required to earn the badge. After you have submitted your badge evidence make sure to press request feedback. If you do not press request feedback you will not be able to earn the badge!

Read or watch at least one article/video.
Create a Google Drawing that you will use in your class.
Complete the Week 1 in Badge List.

  - Share at least one of your major takeaways from the article/video.
  - Post a link to the Google Drawing that you created for your students.

Week 2

Plan on teaching a two station rotation lesson in one of your classes.
Schedule a time to observe a colleague teaching a two station rotation lesson. Send the teacher and Mr. Bradford two stars and a wish that you have for the lesson you observed.
Create a ThingLink that you can use with your students.
Complete the Week 2 in Badge List.

  - Write the name of the teacher’s class you observed.

  - Post a link to the Thinglink that you created for your students.
