Native American History

Students will be able to:

• Identify the diverse tribes, languages, and cultures of Native Americans before European contact.

• Explain and differentiate the different regions and cultural areas of Native American groups

• Evaluate the major impact of European colonization on Native American societies 

• Analyze current social, political, and economic issues affecting Native American communities, such as poverty, education, healthcare, and land rights.
