Nianpo Su

PhD candidate in Linguistics

My name is Nianpo Su [ni̯ɛn⁵¹pʰu̯ɔ⁵⁵ su⁵⁵]. I am a fourth-year PhD student in the Department of Linguistics at Cornell University, with a minor in Cognitive Science. My research focuses on theoretical and experimental syntax/semantics. I am also interested in minority languages spoken in Southwest China such as Nuosu Yi and Qiang.

I am currently working with Miloje Despic and Helena Aparicio.  

I am also a member of the Linguistic Meaning Lab at Cornell.

Before coming to Cornell, I received my B.A. in Japanese Language and Literature from Tsinghua University.
