Welcome! I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford, affiliated with the Department of Social Policy and Intervention and Nuffield College.
My research focuses on the intersection of development economics, climate change, and armed conflict. I use applied econometrics and machine learning to study the relationship between extreme weather events and conflict, as well as their impact on vulnerable social groups in Africa and Latin America. I am also interested in understanding which government policies and programs are effective—and cost-effective—at mitigating these negative impacts.
