Beginning in Fall 2025, I will be an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Alabama. In 2024, I received a PhD in philosophy from Cornell University. Before that, I received a BA and MA from the University of Arizona.
My research focuses on Ancient Philosophy, especially on ethics, political philosophy, and moral psychology. I am also interested in contemporary debates in these areas, and in the history of philosophy more generally.
I regularly teach courses on various topics and figures in ancient philosophy, though my teaching ranges widely.
