Founded by Raoul Sudre in 1958, the Cornell University Judo Club is one of the oldest judo clubs in the nation. We are open to students, faculty, and community members of all ages! Our club offers a welcoming environment for judokas of all skill levels — whether you're a beginner or a seasoned competitor. And the best part? Club memberships are completely free!

In spring of 2024, the Cornell University Judo Club became an affiliate of CNY Judo. CNY Judo is an organization dedicated to promoting Kodokan Judo in Central New York for all ages and skill levels.
Founded in 2023, the mission of CNY Judo is to bring together Judo enthusiasts, athletes, and coaches, grow partner dojos' businesses, and provide a community for exchange, athletic growth, and friendly competition.
