Moot Court at Cornell University is a team of undergraduates who participate in competitive constitutional advocacy.Â
Every year, The American Moot Court Association (AMCA) releases a case with constitutional issues, and the team works to create and deliver an effective argument for both sides of the case. These cases have centered on gender equality, vaccination mandates, due process, the right to privacy and more. Students compete from the regional to national level, along with hundreds of other teams!
Moot Court provides a unique opportunity to develop presentation, debate and teamwork skills, while providing a network of like-minded students and resources to develop the knowledge of future attorneys and advocates.
