Alan Green is a research economist and teacher.  He has expanded his research on economic development and international trade to include work on the history and trajectory of capitalism, as summarized in his recent book, The Foundations of Capitalism.  The era of neoliberal capitalism is ending; what comes next?

Dr. Green also conducts research on pedagogy, seeking to improve learning through applications of cognitive science and empirical analysis to teaching.  He uses Team-Based Learning and was part of the development team for a National Science Foundation Grant Supporting Team-Based Learning in Economics.
