Inquiry 100: A.I. and the Human Experience

Artificial Intelligence and the Human Experience. Artificial intelligence (A.I.) is a pervasive and powerful force in today's society and its presence in our daily lives will only increase in the future. In this course we will learn about the history of A.I., how it is impacting our lives today, and how it will impact our lives in the future. Through up-to-date videos and readings, we will explore many facets of AI such as ethics, economic impact, medical advances, interplay with creativity and the arts, and impact on social psychology. The class format will give ample time for discussion and practice formulating written arguments.
