The CASLV Centennial Hills robotics team is a group of elementary (grades 3-8) students who work together to build and program robots! Our main goal of is to have fun while learning about technology, science, and problem-solving. We get to design robots to do tasks or solve challenges.
We also compete in robotics tournaments with other schools. Each year, we build robots to play a new game. Last year, we basically played basketball with robots. You can see videos of us on the Events page.
The team helps us develop teamwork skills and learn robotics in a fun and hands-on way. It's all about exploring new ideas, working together, and learning how to make robots do cool things while having a great time!
Our team has qualified for the Nevada State Elementary tournament three years in a row! We've also won a bunch of awards. Wewon our first ever Teamwork Award at the Middle of Everywhere Tournament in Ely in 2025. We also completed with teams from around the world at the Create Jr. World Championship in Council Bluffs, IA!
