Drivers: Working hard on practicing for states. We are using XRC simulator for practice wwhile our builders are working on the bot.

Team Description

We are the Galactic Eagles, which combines space and our schools mascot. We are 6 members who are 7th and 8th graders, we have all devoted 100s of hours of our time to robotics to be the best we can. Two out of six members are first year robotic students. So It would be fun introducing them into vex robotics.

Here at Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Cadence, we believe that anyone can succeed if they try hard enough. As a new school that just opened this year, we had a bit of a late start to robotics, and weren't exactly the most seasoned team ever. Some of us have had experience with Vex VRC and IQ in the past, but a few of us were still going in blind. By now, we've managed to build up a very collaborative group which we're all very proud of. So far, we've ranked 6th place in the first competition we've gone to, and we hope to preform well at our next competition, Battle for Vegas, too. All of our team members work very closely together in helping to design, construct, code, journal, and drive our robot. One of our main focuses is on online challenges, as they can give us a chance to make some money for the team and, if we're lucky, score a trip to worlds!
