Commencement Practice (REQUIRED FOR ALL SENIORS)

Practice will be held at CHS!
Please wear your cap/gown for the clap out at the elementary and middle schools. NO NEED to get dressed up.
Arrive for commencement no later than 12:00 PM, May 17, @2:00 PM - Commencement - EJ Thomas(Photos will be available after graduation. To access/order, use the link provided below.)

Promenade will take place in the auditorium beginning at approximately 5:45. If you plan to walk the stage, be here on time and line up in the hallway by the band/choir rooms.

Below you will find a link to the Copley High School Local Scholarship Application. Each year the Copley-Fairlawn Schools Foundation gives out tens of thousands of dollars to our graduating seniors. Please take some time now to click on the link to begin completing this application. The application is due by 2:30 PM on TBD. You can make a copy of the document to complete. Please type in responses for lengthy items so that the application is legible. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Do not miss this incredible opportunity.

Welcome to Senior Year! In preparation for senior pictures, I am sending out our guidelines for senior pictures that are submitted to the yearbook (see below).
Senior pictures are due on February 13, 2026. They can be emailed to chsyearbook@copley-fairlawn.org in jpeg format.
Below are the guidelines for all yearbook photos submitted.
CHS Senior Picture Guidelines for Yearbook
If you decide to submit a senior portrait, please email your picture to the yearbook staff. It should be a jpeg image and have a resolution of at least 4 megapixels or a file size of at least 1MB. Screenshots will not be accepted. Your image should be emailed to: chsyearbook@copley-fairlawn.org Please be sure to include the student’s name in the email!
If we have any questions about your photo we will notify you using email.
The deadline for submitting your image is February 13, 2026.
Senior Photo Rules: The photo should be of the head and shoulders only, no full-body shots, and no props (cars, animals, trophies, etc). Studio names or trademarks are not allowed on the image. The background should be neutral. Since this picture is being taken for school purposes, it must adhere to the school dress code, as published in the Copley High School Student Handbook. The rules that apply to school pictures are as follows: NO headwear (hats, bandanas, etc.). NO sunglasses or anything that covers your face. NO tube tops, halter tops, no mid-drifts showing. NO tops with inappropriate words or images. NO exposed underwear (no bra straps, etc.). NO exposed chests or cleavage. NO photos will be accepted with any social media filters.
The Yearbook Staff reserves the right to reject any image which is inappropriate, does not adhere to the guidelines or is of poor quality.
