Why Join the PTA?
Our PTA provides many volunteer services to our children's school as well as supporting other community, national, and international organizations.
A portion of the PTA Membership fee will fund our PTA programs.
You will receive up to date information about PTA activities available to your child through PTA communications.
We use an online tool called Givebacks to manage membership and communications. Join the PTA online via Givebacks by clicking here.

What is PTA? Why join PTA? The number one reason to join the Parent Teacher Association is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school. But there are many more PTA advantages:
Get Connected. There’s no better way to know what’s happening in your school.
Discover Great Resources. The PTA offers a variety of programs designed for parents as well as students.
Tap into a Network. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns and experiences.
Watch Yourself Grow. By volunteering with your PTA, you put your skills and hobbies to use for a noble cause — your child and all children in the community.
Speak Up. PTA can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at your child’s school.
Witness Improvement. By getting involved at your child’s school you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes. Local PTAs play an important role by supporting building improvements through advocacy and play an important role in fundraising for curriculum-based programs and social events.
Be a Role Model. By becoming a PTA member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.
The goal of Herberich's PTA is to make a difference in the education, health, safety and welfare of our children; working together with the staff and teachers to achieve this. Along with fundraising you can also support the PTA by logging Box Tops for Education and subscribing to Shop to Give on Givebacks to support HPS PTA.
Working together we are able to provide:
PTA Volunteers to help kindergartners learn their way to their classroom the first week of school
Providing after-school programs like Art Classes, Tae Kwon Do, Jammin' Jumpers, Zoomobile and many more
School Assemblies
Donuts with Dudes and Muffin's with Misses
Grandparents Breakfast
Parent/Student Valentine's Dance
The Gingerbread Shoppe
Trunk or Treat
End of Year Celebration
and many more!
